African Lily is a quilt made with African prints and white fabric pieced into a log cabin block. these log cabins are pieced so the African print sections create a secondary design.

Pomander Road Memories is a quilt featuring blocks made with squares pieced on point. These pieced squares are alternated with black fabric squares and surrounded with a narrow and wide border.

The Lady is an abstract portrait quilt that features a woman in the center wearing a patchwork dress made out of all the colors of the rainbow. The background is made with blocks featuring stars and a compass rose.

Best Machine Quilting - Domestic:

The Lady by JoJo Hall

Colleen's Paisley is a quilt made from paisley shapes in various shades of blue. The quilt is intricately and expertly quilted featuring hexagons and feather wreaths.

Best Non-Traditional:

Flower for My Wedding Ring is a double wedding ring quilt made using gradated blue fabric accented with pinks. In the top right and bottom left corner are appliquéd flowers.

Viewers' Choice Second Place:

Burgoyne Surrounded is a quilt that features piecing arranged in an Irish chain style design. The piecing is accented with squares and rectangles and appears to be mad with curved piecing, but isn't! The central design is highlighted with a border of large flowers.

Exciting News in the Coop is an amusing quilt that features a brown pieced chicken that appears to be reading the newspaper with a startled expression.

E. Burnside St. & Sandy Blvd., Portland, OR is a quilt that looks like it is a photograph mounted in a black-paged photo album. The 'photograph' features the confusing intersection of Burnside and Sandy. Buildings are pieced with all shades of the rainbow.

Friends and Mentors is a quilt that shows portraits of nine women in greyscale. Each portrait has an element in it that is in full color.

Ole Truck is a quilt that features a rusted old Dodge truck in surrounded by three borders of black and brown.

Judge's Choice - Gerrie Thompson:

New Day Blues is a medallion-style quilt in blue and white fabrics. A feathered star is in the center, and is surrounded by a border of pinwheels, stars on point, flying geese and dancing sawtooth stars.

Viewers' Choice First Place:

Delft Delight is a quilt made with blue and white fabrics. There are four corners that are on point, and accented with very small half square triangles.

Best Use of Show Theme:

I Spy a Rainbow is an I-Spy styled quilt, made with squares in all colors of the rainbow--some solid and some are prints. The reds start in the bottom left corner and transition all the way to purple and pink in the top right corner.
